PLANBAR (Allplan Precast)


Company BIMplatform have pleasure to announce the appearance of a new PLANBAR version – version 2019.

PLANBAR (formerly Allplan Precast) is advanced tool, operating in accordance with BIM technology. Program is used for design of precast structures and automatic exchange of necessary data required for operation of production lines.


PLANBAR module: IPE 2019


In PLANBAR 2019, element types can be defined by user as single or multilayer, this applies to all structural elements.

Every type of object can be converted into precast structural elements (such as: slabs, walls, stairs, columns and others), and then elaborated according to the concept of work in PLANBAR.

Objects, which can be transformed:

  • 3D solids
  • PythonParts
  • User-defined objects
  • Architectural objects / elements


With PLANBAR 2019, modeling of precast elements, as well as their manual modification, is improved. It gives, among others, ability to pre-define geometry without paneling. Basic and additional reinforcement can be created with the use of “Engineering” module. Thanks to module IFC Assistant, definition of concrete and insulation areas has been significantly improved. Exchange of data with MEP Assistant and BIM Booster has been facilitated.

In the latest version of the program, each type of element has its own configuration. The number of layers is freely defined. User can define a symbol for every element type. Labeling, creating reference points and span directions is done in the same way as in the Module iParts.

PLANBAR module: IFC ASSISTANT (since version 2019)


IFC Assistant allows for creating multi-layer elements. Component types and material parameters are set automatically basing on the user’s rules. Geometry of the object is automatically checked and its individual elements are assigned to appropriate layers, which allows for quick elaboration of precise documentation. Components can be defined appropriately to be sent to production lines (NC data, assembly drawings).


With this feature, user can analyze attributes of imported components and “teach” system to automatically detect and sort them.


Model of precast elements is created on the basis of architectural model and MEP model. Architectural model can be imported from programs such as Allplan, ArchiCAD, Revit, Vektorworks, etc. (in *.ifc or native format). MEP model can be imported from: AX3000, RevitMEP, DDS-CAD, etc. (also in *.ifc or native format). The created model of precast elements includes reinforcement, paneling, openings, devices. On its basis production drawings, containing all necessary data (in MES system) and assembly drawings (in ERP system), are generated.

MEP Assistant improvements:
• Free rotation and displacement of individual elements in the coordinate system
• Ability to preview changes before their application
• Adding settings from favorite list at connection points of components

PLANBAR module: iParts – automatic stairs reinforcing

Process of stairs reinforcing take place in a fully automated manner, on the basis of parametric iParts model. User have possibility to define own geometry of elements or modify existing models. Staircase model includes bent meshes and mounting hooks.

Extension of platform bim+ with precast parts

Bim+ platform allows user to exchange and combine models. With PLANBAR 2019, it has been expanded with precast elements. Platform also enables team work on the entire project or its individual parts. Bim+ is solution minimizing errors and collisions (geometry, reinforcement, fixtures, MEP), resulting from the lack of coordination between specialists from various industries.


TIM is a platform for 3D planning, which allows to optimize processes related to production, logistic, assembly and get graphical reports tailored to individual needs. Due to the fact that work in TIM is based on the 3D model, management process is clear and intuitive to all participants.

In comparison to version 2018, PLANBAR 2019 focuses even more on effective management of the whole construction process at every stage. The UltraList function allows for efficient management of items, their quick location and full control. New feature in the program is export in *.csv format and extended spectrum of attributes and variable parameters. The dependency configuration can be freely defined. Dynamically configured stack generates reports and provides freedom from system constraints, being highly customizable tool.
